Sylvan was VFX Supervisor on The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019), Chiwetel Ejiofor’s directorial debut, based on the memoir by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. The work ranged from warehouse scenes and extended fields and crops to added rain and atmosphere.

Malawi was special. Chiwetel is a genuinely lovely, down-to-earth person, and on a small production everyone knows each other. You join the family for a little while, then leave with a lot of good memories.
